I've been looking at putting my log prices up for next year as I know I'm too cheap!

So I've been researching local prices so as not to price myself out of my marketplace. I've discovered a world of difference in pricing as to be expected however the one surprise is that some people seem to be charging the same for hard and softwood.

I offer both hard and softwood loads and a 50/50 mix of the two with a £10 difference between each load.

So my question is what price difference do you charge between soft and hardwood loads and/or mixed loads??

My prices have been softwood £40, mixed £50 and hardwood £60 in dumpy bags! I sell more mixed loads than the others and over the last three years have gone from selling approximately 30 bags to now doing 200 this last winter.

£15 is the difference between hard and soft for me, and I sell by 0.75 cbm bag.

I would say you could easily add a tenner to your prices as they look very cheap (unless your using 0.5cbm bag).
