Drew, care to expand on that? What problems have they had?

Mine is ok to date. I have been told it get better as it fluffs up an bit and loses the newness.

My Cougar Blue has what I can only describe as a braid fart where a braid in the inner core has skipped, so when I descend on a hitch I feel a slight notch, it's these and other manufacturing inconsistencies in Donaghys products that are a little annoying.

Also my Cougar is totally static compared to other cougar blue rope I have climbed on, and I really wanted a little give.

That's the thing, some of it has absolutely no issues. Then the next roll can be total rubbish

It seems like the roll Nod got was ok. The only person i know of who has had any issue is Marc. I got 60m and its flawless. My first hank that i got in oz is spot on too. However I did buy a 6m length to make a side strop for a mate a while back. It had one strand that was fluffy but thankfully only a little on one end. Took it out as a taper strand for the splice.
