just adding some more pics to flickr thought I would post these pre vented bag pics also pre processor was all done with posch 30t vertical splitter and pains me to think back how much time I used to waste in a day stacking logs.

Atm my stacks are 3 pallets long (under the logs - and proped up a bit more with stones etc.)- and 4.5'-6' high - so no wobbles - and top covered with a pallet and some plastic from an old pollytunnel/ seems to be keeping most of this rain off

That's some serious amount of stacking! Nice pics. Did you ever get any collapses?

 

yes a few times which is why we started using normal bags with holes burned in them + the reduced labour ofc. but they did look good in the yard.

Loving the archive pictures and family history on your webpage, not your average firewood website, thats for sure.

 

Thanks could do with a redesign some day though.
