i did try fitting the old pull start but it didn't fit over the silver thing on flywheel so if it does break ill have to do a bit of mix and matching with some of the old flywheel parts to make it fit:thumbup1:

How you getting on with these engines? I've just had to fit a new cylinder head to the Honda engine and thinking next time it's a new engine, may order one and keep it ready for when it breaks............

To be honest it's on its last legs already! It's started smoking and seems to struggle more when grinding at a angle compared to the genuine engine. Also keeps leaking fuel in to the oil which isn't going to do it any good!

Doesn't sound to good. I know grinding is hard on these engines. Have to keep my eye open for more spares for mine! Cheers for the feedback, may well give it a miss, at least for a bit longer!

Has said on previous threads I mentioned the quality and tolerances on the carburettor or extremely poor and will leak fuel into bore when stood still over night ,turn the petrol off every time you switch it off or run carb out .
