you mean fishing with multiplier reels? there's no better feeling than spending precious time tying up a nice rig with expensive tackle, loading it carefully with expensive bait then belting it out at full pelt, seeing it all to the horizon, the spool spinning mentally out of control, bird nesting then cracking off. spent some good night's on Chesil beach untangling and retying when I were young.

 

+1 and hirst castle lugg all the gear over pebbles beach. get it all kitted out give it a good cast even with fixed spools flying like a goodin and bale arm comes over and crack all the gear going into space. in the end cut the bale arms off. worked far better then started brigning them out without bale arms burton bradstock had a good evening fishing there after the maceral.

wAS DOWN THERE one night and saw this owl on top of this camper van. thought it was a plastic one untill it moved was a eagle owl chap said he flew it when it got dark

I must be weird, I find untangling throwline quite therapeutic!
