bar length on ms362

So my friend has just got a used ms362 and he's wanting to set it up as a chainsaw mill if possible, seems like it would have plenty of power but just wondering about what size bar it could be stretched to?

Since with the mill they're looking at it will only give them about 12" of cutting surface, would it be fine to put on say a 28" bar which would give 20" of cutting surface?

Stihl recommend to put a max 20" bar on it but don't know how that translates to an alaskan mill?

And can you even buy bigger bars that will fit on this saw?
