Chain oil grades

We only use Stihl bio. Whatever you use it gets sprayed everywhere. Just look at the road on a wet day.

It's expensive though not so bad and less obnoxious for the guys and the environment.

It's also more than 90% vegetable/rapeseed oil. I pay .50 - .89 cent a litre for rapeseed oil here in Ireland, and use it as my only source of bar oil.

The oil we make is a 150 grade never had any complaints about winter use. I considered making a 100-120 grade, that seems to be a way some firms are going, but it makes me think the only reason they want to do that is so you guys use more oil.

The thinner it is the more its going to fling unless it's got a lot of tacky additive in it.

Bio oil tends to be thinner than the mineral equivalent.
