Got the electric start wired up today . Oil levels spot on . Started up 3rd turn of the key . The pull start is ok although a tad flimsey . Apparently a genuine Honda part is a straight swap anyway . To be perfectly honest as I chipped some brash ie Conifer and a bit of old apple tree I noticed no difference between the old Kohler 18hp and the new 16hp engine ? There is a knack to starting the new engine when using the recoil system . I must have chipped for at least 20mins or so today . Although did have the new engine on half revs for 20 mins  oil change in 5 hrs . All told the new engine has fitted in a treat . Even the belt cover has been left unchanged .
