Hi guys,

Just took delivery of my lovely shiny Stein helmet. I already have some peltor ear muffs that I am going to fit on to it - I have been supplied with the correct screws.

It seems to me that the plastic frame for the peltor muffs doesn't sit flush with the side of the helmet. Do I need to cut off the section that slots in to the hole on petzl/husky helmets in order for them to fit properly?

Cheers for your help,

Paul

Paul you have the wrong back parts to your ears, I'll post them out to you free of charge tomorrow.

PM me you details so I find it in the morning as I may forget otherwise.:confused1:

Cheers,

Justin.:001_smile:

Thanks for sending the spare parts Justin (and my lovely new tachyon rope, mmmmm).

So I feel like a right div - I just can't seem to get these things to fit on properly. I have screwed the ear muff back plate on to the helmet but it sits very awkwardly on the helmet surface and I can see them snapping without too much bother.

Pics below - have I missed the point somewhere?:blushing:
