Hi all I am rebuilding a 050 at the moment refitted carb after cleaning and fitting new diaphragms and new fuel lines.Started saw and cannot get it to run properly it bogs down when given throttle or with minor adjustment sometimes revs about a third of the way and returns to idle.Any suggestions welcome.

Check you've got the throttle linkage rod running the right way over the carb. You have to have the throttle pulled to the right position as you fit the top cover or it jams up.

Meter arm?

Air leak, carb boot, coil setting, fuel filter, fuel vent, choke is working..... Could go one.

Is the carb kit the right one?

Carb kit is right one the saw was running perfectly last year only petrol was running back to fuel tank so i decided to treat it to a little tlc,as it was taking a good few pulls to get it going again after standing more than a couple of days.
