Hi Guys

Had a call out today to a downed Ash looks like honey fungus had got to this one also the stump was full of Ants

About 5 foot away there are two Poplar trees with this fungi around the bottom. My Id is not great but I thought it was Coprinus micaceus??

Thanks Ed

Thanks

its not on a stump its on a living poplar tree near to the ash that fell due to honey fungus. I know it grows on dead timber do you think this is on the poplar due to the butt/roots dying? There is also a black canker around chest height. No real sign of rot in the base.
