hi I'm looking for a bottom end for a 550 xp because I need the left hand side crank case if anyone has one that they have trashed.top end or crank please let me know thanks

Strictly speaking you should you both halves if you find a bottom end as they are matched to a degree . You could find one that is on bottom limit and yours may be on top limit if you see what I mean .

the two halves are matched, and if you only get one half and it may look like it fits fine after a short while the joins may open up, or just not seal right and you will end up with an air leak in the crank case and causing a lean sieze.

 

best order both halves and a new crank. but this will no doubt lead to a new saw by the time you have paid for it all.
