Cheers for that mate but got the launtop in the end, fitted it yesterday and it seems to work fine!:)

 

Could you pop some pics up please . My 18 hp kohler has just died . I was going to put a diesel engine on it . Although a 16hp launtop at that price sounds amazing . Lots of friends have the chinese copy honda engines lifan/ launtop and all seem great and most genuine honda parts will fit .

bit late with this but..

my chippit did the same, now has a twin cylinder Petter diesel 28hp fitted.

works really well, engine note doesn't change!! Had to do some maths to work out pulley sizes to get speed right.
