Mike, not the best time of year for finding PTS work... the budgets are just getting sorted now and tenders from network rail should be out in the next couple of weeks..

The ctting work up here is curailed a bit by the nesting season so we're going through a quiet time just now and the whole squad is back on the forestry side of things.

I was desporatley looking for someone between january and march but we've completed that contract now.

If I get anything come up i'll give you a shout but in the mean time you could try contacting QTS or Carellion, Trac etc.

Probably would be mike..

one of the other contractors that was working along side us on our last rail job laid off 4 guys at the end of the contract, there's just no work on the de-veg for a few months, simple as that.

Hope you find something though... might be worth you looking for a fencing contractor or similar on the railway, they always have a use for a guys with saw tickets, and fencing can be pretty good work to get.

Matt
