I realize that this thread may seem somewhat of a noddy question to many on here, but before i go on, here's a bit about me, i'm just finishing a 12 year career in the royal air force and want to enter the Arboricultural industry, I have just finished an online diploma which i am looking to further and am gaining hands on experience with tree surgeons,

 

Question being - to those self employed, i'm researching the values and attributes that as an employer, and dealing with customers, you feel are important and why,

 

Any guidance is most grateful
