Huddersfield saw and tool did my trimmers when the clutch went just watch their lead times when busy

 

Were they formerly Armitage's? Up at Ainley Top off of the M62

You could try NTH (Northern Tool Hire) on Mossley Road, just round corner from Tameside College. They do sell Stihl kit, but not sure how much spare part stock they carry, but they should be able to order it in for you, and not far for you to travel.

 

Whereabouts in Mossley r u? I'm just down the road in Stalyvegas!

I've had exactly the same problem with mine. The clutch (friction part) will be grand, the drive will have rung off the drum part of it. Easy fix but a little bit of stripping involved to get at it from memory.
