Hi, anyone have a photo or accurate line drawing of main jet needle for a Husky 268xp?

Many thanks

That's got to be one of the strangest requests:confused1:

If you have a saw that needs a new needle in the carb, it is a Tillotson carb Tillotson HS-134A, 234A, B, 260 series -

If you want spares - Rowena Motors - don't let the website put you off, they are top guys and you can purchase by mail and paypal request.

thanks, trouble is in the parts diagram the shape shown for the needle is different to the one in my saw, which I suspect may be wrong. In fact the shape looks the same as that in a Husky 61. Furthermore that is the parts diagram for a 268 not 268xp, though whether there is likely to be a difference in needle I know not

The carb will have a number on its side, go by this - it should match one of the numbers I have given you. If it doesn't match then you will need a replacement carb or take a chance and see if it will work - most Tillosons I have worked on have had a long needle - perhaps 15mm long.

Good luck
