imo petrol is about the easiest way the tank cleaning products you can get are a nightmare to get rid of all the residue that can harm the engine oil tanks you can use a degreaser in with it and then run thinner oil as a clearout (motor oil etc ) oil through it to remove the degreaser residue ..

 

air lines can damage the pumps / carbs internals if used to fiercely on them ( i know i will get the posts of i always use n air line etc but this is my opinion and if you dont like it :aetsch::bootyshake::321:
