short of swishing around clean petrol in the petrol and oil tanks and pouring it out, whats the best way of cleaning our dirty tanks....without using expensive workshop tools.

imo petrol is about the easiest way the tank cleaning products you can get are a nightmare to get rid of all the residue that can harm the engine oil tanks you can use a degreaser in with it and then run thinner oil as a clearout (motor oil etc ) oil through it to remove the degreaser residue ..

 

air lines can damage the pumps / carbs internals if used to fiercely on them ( i know i will get the posts of i always use n air line etc but this is my opinion and if you dont like it
