New saw, recommendations please

Currently looking for a new saw as one of our saws has recently died (ms261). We have another Stihl ms261 and a husky 346xp (which I personally love). Our current work profile consists of a lot hard wood thinning and rhododendron & birch clearance, both have long walk ins so a reasonably light saw would be preferable. We don't tend to do big stuff, if we do we can put a bigger bar on one of the other saws.

Cheers

Ive copied this from the German Ebay listing I don't rate Stihl any more due to the carbs are made in China and ive had stacks of problems with them, so Iam changing all of my gear over the Makita, type in this ...

Makita Benzin-Kettensäge DCS4301-38 38 cm .

at about £284 its £159 cheaper than the UK !! give it a thought and let me know!!

its about the equivelant 024 stihl the vibration levels are far better as they use double damperning system , IE rubber and spring...far better
