I think the green ones are the most dodgy and they don't fall easily . A horse will not eat acorns by choice only if they don't have enough grass . . I would have said the electric round the drop edge . now and then rake em back to the trunk then with a shovel them up with a snow shovel and barrow them away to a pig farmer ...

She doesn't need to get her own pig(s). If she contacts her local Smallholders' Association, they will be only too keen to help her out by grazing their pigs there for the time it will take to clear the acorns IME.
