I`ve got a husky 266se which i picked up with a couple of mowers. Not used much but an older saw with an old bar.

Question is, the profile of the tip shows a shallower angle at the bottom.I`ve seen other old saws with this kind of setup, so dont think its wear, and in fact the bar is in good order. Can it be flipped the other way with no problems or is there any issues.Chain coming off etc.I always flip my bars normally to get equal wear top and bottom

Cheers.

Any Oregon dealer can replace a bar and chain for you for the 266 Husky the old banana anti kick back bars are only used one way but the replacements are universal both sides.

Take your old bar and chain in with you, don't forget to check your sprocket for wear as well.
