200T carb kit

I think the carb in my 200t is playing up if I get a carb kit is it fairly easy to do myself or is it worth getting someone else to do it, anyone had experience with doing them?

It's simple as long as you make a note of the order the diaphragms go in.

 

So it's a good idea to take pictures or video on your phone.

I have overhauled a couple of mine,I found it a bit fiddly, replacing the gaskets and diaphragms is easy, accelerator pump and welch plugs are a little more involved.

 

Welch plugs need sealing after fitting with special tool.

 

Finding someone who can repair it then test it is what you want, Spud removes the pump guts and seal it, he could be your man.

 

Not sure what the ebay guys do, and how thorough they are.

 

Do you have access to an ultrasonic tank, makes life a little easier.
