Thanks for the replies! Yeah, im kinda chuffed with it! Helps that both me and my old man are engineers and welders with a bit of chippy experience thrown in! :)

I did one a few years ago like that with a lid on top and no sides in for the milk man. 50mm angle 3mm thick and a bit of rail round the top for chucking stuff on and tying to. Nice project there.

The bar over the tailgate is now removeable and held on with quick release pins, the same type you get on digger buckets! Got it signwritten yeaterday too!:)

Cheers mate! The PVC is hardwearing stuff from a builders merchants, was bout £45 for an 8x4 sheet, its designed for kitchens and bathrooms. Its only 2.5mm thick but has plywood behind it so its only there to look nice really! A mate did the signwriting for £50 as I had already designed the logo etc myself!:)
