Value of old timber beams

Would anyone know what the value of old timber beams are? We took a few in the attached photo off an old barn recently. I would imagine they would be used more for decorative false trusses/beams rather than anything structural? Not sure of the value.

And yes the large Ash tree behind is knackered and coming down soon if it doesn't fall down first!

Not worth much if anything at all, most beams need to be a good length and cut to fit, you don't get many homes using them now only the odd barn conversion, put them on ebay you never know

Last lot I sold c1987 we got £5ft3 for them and fencing oak in the round was fetching about £1/Hft. The chap dealt in building old houses, his tudor house in Dunsfold looked genuine 1500s.

 

One just up the road (not same builder) is amusingly named "Piltdown House".
