Anyone got any experience of these?On the face of it they can be homeground.I`ve got a badly rocked 3/8 to fit a 28"bar.If i were to grind it to usefull spec there wouldnt be much life left in it.But to grind it into a ripping chain would perhaps be more usefull.

Clears noodles/horse bedding better when cutting along the grain.

Personally I stick by the label from my ripping chains which states that they must be used in conjunction with a chainsaw mill. Higher risk of kickback.

 

Never thought of utilising older chains in this way. Be careful mate.
