Just found out 6 close local friends of mine were involved in a horrific crash this morning. One of which is fighting for his life in Soton general in a drug induced coma. He was the lad in the Renault 5 which collected another friends Corsa heading back toward Blandford. Dad and i were on a shoot about 5 miles away but could hear sirens left and right. From the high point on the shoot we could see the blue lights in the distance and saw the Air ambulance take off. Praying that the 17 year old makes a full recovery but speaking to his family, the consultant has already mentioned about him being flown to Frenchay for skull rebuilding.

UPDATE: 17-year-old airlifted to hospital in "critical" condition after two-car smash (From Bournemouth Echo)

Had an update today from his family. He has had surgery to rebuild/reshape part of his skull but can move fingers and toes and has good reflex in his knees. He will be brought back to Soton to recover for the forseeable future but it looks like he was a very very lucky lad.
