Strsssed out chipper

Hi, my chipper (Landforce Duo) has developed a fault with, I think, the stress control, which is stressing me out! It will feed and chip small stuff at idle, but increase the engine speed and the stress control kicks in, and wont feed! Has anyone come across a similar problem before? Im wondering where to start looking!

Thanks

Richard

Many thanks for all the advice! Think I have it sorted now-

  • Stop solenoid was u/s
  • Oil pressure sender u/s
  • Idle speed set too low - somehow confusing stress control so feed rollers ran. Slightly increased idle, stress now functioning perfectly
  • Belts little slack, dose of talcum powder until adjusted !
  • Disconnected micro switches - connected
  • Key ripped out of shredder roller motor - new one welded in
  • Bracket missing from hitch damper, so it banged into hitch on moving off/stopping - replaced

So its out earning money! I have to say Mike at Landforce has been very helpful, especially as its a ten year old machine!
