  1. And another! LANDFORCE DUO 235 WOODCHIPPER SHREDDER LOW HOURS | eBay photographed next to the well known electrified railway on Shetland by the seller with 0 feedback. Shetland being of course a heavily forested area!
  2. It's a 2002 with the main box on the shredder hopper.
  3. Doobin, you would have thought so, but no response to my emails, nor can they tell me the fuse ratings...... Breezeblock, I'm in North Wales. Thanks!
  4. Hi, another landforce duo chipper question! So, having fixed the engine, tensioned the belts, upped the idle speed so it doesn't feed at idle, the control box isn't detecting engine rpm. I have checked the feed from the alternator, and that it has a 12v feed. Landforce have sent me a diagram of the control box terminals, but without the wire colours.... Please could someone send me a pic of the wiring in theirs? I suspect mine have been shoved on the nearest terminal in the past when the chipper was used on idle! alternatively I'm considering bypassing the stress control altogether, any ideas please? And yes, before anyone says, when I win the lottery I will get an orange one! Thanks
  5. Lawn care firm near me called 'Mow U Down' ....
  6. Makes a change from the guy who lives in Cyprus/Malta and selling his dead brothers chipper....Despite what they say chippers aren't covered by eBays buyer protection as eBay say they are vehicles! There do seem to be a lot of chippers for sale in the Shetlands, one photo showed a Timberwolf next to an electrified railway....
  7. Many thanks for all the advice! Think I have it sorted now- Stop solenoid was u/s Oil pressure sender u/s Idle speed set too low - somehow confusing stress control so feed rollers ran. Slightly increased idle, stress now functioning perfectly Belts little slack, dose of talcum powder until adjusted ! Disconnected micro switches - connected Key ripped out of shredder roller motor - new one welded in Bracket missing from hitch damper, so it banged into hitch on moving off/stopping - replaced So its out earning money! I have to say Mike at Landforce has been very helpful, especially as its a ten year old machine! Richard
  8. A previous owner had disconnected or cable-tied the micro switches, so I'm wondering if its an electrical problem. It decided to work perfectly this afternoon, chipped 6" no problem and without anything being touched!
  9. Hi, my chipper (Landforce Duo) has developed a fault with, I think, the stress control, which is stressing me out! It will feed and chip small stuff at idle, but increase the engine speed and the stress control kicks in, and wont feed! Has anyone come across a similar problem before? Im wondering where to start looking! Thanks Richard
