Is anyone in the south/south east involved with any volunteer community/conservation projects?

I was involved with a little community project a few years ago that has come to an end and I quite fancy getting back into doing some volunteering for a good cause!

I have nothing to do with tree work usually (I found the site due to some machinery searches!) but I am an agricultural fencer by trade so do have some skills :001_tongue:

A few mates of mine work for wildlife trusts so I go and do bits and pieces of felling/coppicing for them now and again. Good to get out and get some 2 stroke fumes and fresh air now that I'm desk-bound 9-5! Have a look for your local wildlife trust, I'm certain they'd be glad of a competent fencer and/or chainsaw operator for the occasional volunteer work party.
