Not being able to find a new air filter for my Dolmar 166, I was considering putting a K&N Cone Filter on. Would I have to change the jets?

Thanks Patrick

Just adjust the H screw to maintain correct max revs!

I have an old Dolmar stone cutter that has some sort of air filter a bit like your K&N one, not sure if it would have fitted your 166!

Make sure you check your high speed carb setting.

Yes, I did have a filter similar to the disc cutter one, but its quite a lump which I thought might strain the carb joint too much.

Just looking for a polished aluminium chainsaw helmet to go with it!!
