Hi Sam,

what sized digger have you got? Anything 3 ton and smaller the JL is the one as its so light. If you've got 5 ton digger go with the Uniforest 1.3m grab.

Uniforest now do a 1.1m grab but it is a heavy strong grab so wouldnt want to go on smaller than 3 ton.

The JL grab opens to about 700mm and comes with a 1 ton rotor. The Uniforest I usually supply with a 3 ton rotor or for people like TCD a 4.5 ton rotor!

The JL grab has recently gone up to £750+vat, but phone me up and say you're from here and I'll do it at the old price of £650+vat for you.

Its only a kubota u10 so pretty small. What are the dimensions of the grab as they are not on the info/price list i have got? Is that something you keep in stock?

Ok, definitely don't go any bigger than the JL grab on that machine.

Sold my last one on Friday, but more coming in a week or so. Only got 3 on order or so might run out again, selling more than we expected!

I know it opens up to 700mm, I have the rest written down at work, so could let you know on Monday. I would guess its about 250mm wide.

TCD, FYI, they now make a 1.5m opening grab after I pointed out to them what you said about there being a big gap between the 1.3 and 1.8m grabs.

As far as I know, haven't imported one yet to see for myself, but seems to be yes. I dont have a full spec sheet yet as its only just come out.

I cant remember where it comes in costwise, but there wasnt much between the 1.3 and 1.8 grabs anyway.

They increased their range a bit, offering the option of standard or hardox grabs and obviously adding the 1.1 and 1.5m grabs
