No there was a walnut there about 30+ years ago when the house was built.

the builders put about 6ft of soil around it so it died.

the stump was removed and the acacia was planted ( a root ball 15ft high tree i belive) and it has grown ever since. He is addament it has been there 30 yrs ( as he planted it).

I was impressed how well its grown tbh.

not work has been done near it at all.

Just a quick update. The tree blew over yesterday. Wind was so strong that it went away from its lean ( hope that makes sense).

Cheek is I didn't even get a call totidyitup!

Never mind.
