Mines cracked and falling off, is it a big job to replace or can I have a bash one evening , I believe the costs around £30 ?

If you take it off with the fuel tank in place, the hardest part is getting the new one in with the gasket in place - best held in place with a little glue/sealent/grease!

Not that difficult to do!

Where are the screws I have to take out ... Is it just the two underneath or do I have to remove the handle and most of the plastic chassis and so on to remove what's left of the muffler? No taken the fuel tank off before :-(

the exhuast is just the two screws helf way up the saw underneath.

they are not in the plastic but you get to the through the holes in the plastic. oh and remove the chain cover and the plastic around the clutch, the exhaust will rattle out the side.

ensure you retrieve the old gasket aswell. new exhaust will slide in, hopefully you will have a gasket that holds the screws, it does make it easier.

You have to take the handle off 3 screws.

Gentle pull the rubber boot off that attaches to the cylinder.

Disconnect the fuel pipe and breather pipe.

Undo four screws that hold the chassis of the saw, 2 at the top, two at the bottom.

Gently pull the tank off the back of the saw, you will have to open it out slightly to get the clearance.

Undo the two bolts that attach the exhaust to the cylinder, (the two in the middle)

The grease on the exhaust to hold the gasket in place is a good idea but you can also just poke the bolts through to hold it in place.

Or you can do the above.
