Evening all. A friend of mine had to retire from tree work due to back problems & is finding it hard to get back into work. He is going to study for his level 4 next Sept to help him get back into the industry & have a manager/surveyor role.

I was wondering if anyone out there would be kind enough to send me the reading least so he can look into getting the literature required sooner rather than later as funds are low for him at the moment & he could spread the costs throughout the next few months. Many thanks, Glen.

Hi Paul. I forgot too. I was down Rochester way today, Chelsea & Blackheath tomorrow then i've a tree condition survey to carry out the rest of the week. I'm across into Kent again next Monday or Tuesday if that's any good? I have the reading list from the Tech Cert & i hope it isn't too different but you never know. There is two or three books out of print at the moment & i wonder if there is a prefered alternative?

He's going to Merrist Wood. I am in Chatham on Monday so we can meet then. I surveyed 800 + trees in Twydall two months ago. Where abouts are you surveying down there?

Near Rainham, not sure of the area. Ill just put a street in the satnav then go off the maps! There is a big park with about 300 trees which will be a nightmare to plot.

I got to know Rochester and strood quite well, stayed in Gravesend which was a hell hole, this week ill be in the van

Good luck with that! Most of the people I saw there looked like they belong on the Jeremy Kyle show & the town reminded me of Beirut!
