I saw a 254xp on ebay not long ago. Starting price was £100. Good thing about them (if it's working mind you) is that it will run for what seems like forever!

The 353 was never an xp saw.

Its current equivalent is the 545...a down spec version of the 550.

Its a great saw but a little dated if its on sale at a great price then go for it but otherwise would choose the 545...better performance with more bells and whistles... See what price you can get one of those first.

 

There are Some great offers on 550 and 560, might not be that much difference on price against a 353 or even 545 and they are full fat and tasty rather than low calorie lol
