Worth milling IMO, but don't let it lose it's whiteness.

 

Cut in as soon as possible and stand up for 4 weeks prior to standard stacking. They need to be stood up with no stickers touching anywhere but at the very top and bottom. Everything stains sycamore and maple.

You'll achieve a much higher price for good white sycamore/maple than sap stained stock. We delivered 78.5 cubic foot of figured/rippled in places sycamore today, and it was all very white. Wouldn't have sold had it been stained.

hi j, what price per cubic foot did the sycamore sell at. i've got some that is heavily rippled but greyish. it could still be used for brightly coloured stained guitar tops but am not sure what price i should be asking. any ideas???
