Im going to have a look at a new truck, the dealer said it had just come in, but no tax or mot has come through yet, is there anyway you can find out if he is telling the truth, and secondly is it legal to drive still

Its an offence to have an untaxed vehicle on the road unless its on the way to an MOT test or repairs for the MOT

 

Its also an offence to have a taxed vehicle on the road and not display the disk.
