[Old Mill Tree Care]

A few weeks ago my chipper started rumbling and on Wednesday the main shaft bearing failed as the last branch went through.

I took it to Arbrep the following morning, before the birds were even up, and the team replaced the bearings in quick time so I could get straight back to work.

Charles advised greaseable bearings instead of the sealed for life (until they break) standard ones.

While this was being done, the blades were put on the sharpening machine and its like getting a new machine back.

 

Absolutely first class service.

Sorry haven't had the time as yet, it just need a service and a check over by an expert, should really do it myself (hangs head in shame). I am in the process of moving house and yard in the next 2 weeks! so when things settle down will certainly give them a ring.

Yesterday at 3:40pm a metal hanging basket bracket went through my chipper and shifted the fly wheel! Not good.

 

I dropped it off at Arbrep at 7:30am today and drove away with one of their rental chippers as Charles said mine would be a couple of days because he's pretty busy.

 

However, just as I finished work this afternoon Charles called to say that my chipper was ready for collection already. Brilliantly fast!

 

Of course, next time I'll expect him to fix it before it breaks.:laugh1:
