Hitch climber cord

What's the best cord for hitch climber, 8 or 10mm? And my rope is 13mm. Also what length would be best to go for?

I'm using 10 and 8 mm prefer the 8 mm and 75 cm long or shorter depending on the knot you use less sit back

Depends what type of 13mm rope you're using as well.

Ok, no worries now, gone for 8mm can always swap and change to 10mm if its no good

I climb on Yale imori with the cheap 8mm Marlow braid friction chord (£0.98 per metre) and get on really well with it

It depends on what hitch you use. I use M.T/V.T. And I use 8mm 3 rapes 3 braids and I find that perfect in wet wether i add an extra braid.

I use imori 12mm I also use the same hitch on hedera 11.7mm
