Malicious websites

I'm trying to access some Arb Practice notes but the site I'm after keeps getting blocked by my computers security system, with warning of malicious software etc. The sites here;

I can't imagine there is a problem with the site, but I've been blocked from it for a week now. Anyone else having issues? I've got McAfee and Bullguard installed.

Hi all,

OK, this is a guess, but what could have happened is that the site authors may have written an insecure Java script. Java is notorious for being compromised & the 10 year old Romanian hackers (?) have just injected some bad links to the malware slinging site they want to redirect traffic to etc.

PM me the site URL & Ill check it out & contact the host to sort it (been doing this for years)

Hello, Bonsoir,

I was right! its got redirects to naughty pages! the home page has been compromised so I have sent the site owner a message telling them to secure their iFrame scripts, tut tut!

Anyway I have downloaded the text of the notes, converted to PDF on my Mac & scanned with Sophos AV so you can download my new file, which is safe to do so.

I had some problems last year with this site with a notice warning of 'malware' so I bet it happens quite often.

More recently I was looking for quantities of a particular aggregate and one of the sites I looked at had been hacked to display sex toys and cheap viagra!

Hi

My analysis is correct, there are iFrame exploits which allow script injections to malware/adult slinging sites.

I have contacted the people who run the site & bought this to their attention. Hopefully they will re-script the site soon & fix it
