Anybody use one of these winches that attach to a chainsaw,ive watched the videos but would like to hear from anyone using them in the field.One of my concerns would be the effect of prolonged revving on the saw engine.

The ones ive seen on utube seem pretty pointless but not seen a Clarke one or it in action. I guess in certain circumstances they could have there uses.

 

I guess it depend exactly what its "safe load" is and the job you asking of it?

The lewis winch seems the most popular in the U.S.A...........
