too how i would love one of those...(now i know its name)

Any further information on them, how they fit with the sprocket etc...

 

Iv seen alot of carvers use them, are they really versatile?

Thanks to all for the compliments and replies.

 

£600 for a 171 and the bar has definitely put me off. However, as I started the post I'll attempt to finish it. I'll contact Bob and report back.

Grube make a cheaper version that is just as good. Around £280:00 Inc belt sprocket etc.

 

You remove the saws sprocket, add the new one (plus bearing ring), sand a small area off the side casing of the saw (explained in instructions and takes 30seconds, add the bar and belt and tension/secure as per chain. Pockets/cutters etc are all easily replaceable and you get spares Inc!!
