What do i do with this forsythia?

Test a brushcutter or clearing saw out in there, you could loose the cypress too by testing a saw, test a mower on your lawn, make it all smell lovely with aspen fumes, you know you want to!

Its gotta be done hasn't it, I havent fired my own saws up for months yet the log stores are pretty full now:blushing::lol::lol:

Hello,

Cut out the old wood with loppers BUT...you may find the smaller stuff just flops down so may need some canes to support it.

I normally coppice these every couple of years immediately after flowering.

All the answers to everything are in the RHS book of pruning which you can often get in charity shops for a steal.
