You don't need a scythe, what you need is a pro strimmer :lol:

 

I can see how it might be quicker where there are no obstacles, and compared to a brushcutter rather than a clearing saw. But it's hard work, and I've got a tractor and topper.

one job i have can not get tractor on there as has open flood drains and its a size 30 plus acres. hence looking at using a scythe can cut bigger sweeps with one. and just fancy having a go. were i can use one its the saving on fuel etc. may cost me for scythe. but does not need filling up only me to keep me going:biggrin:
