Pricing and contracts

Out of interest, with larger amounts of tree work and management, how do people quote it?

By the day and do it on day rate and state this in the quote or price for an entire job?

If you price it by the day and provide a management schedule and duration, do people get an agreed contract signed to say they are to complete the entire schedule?

Or how do others do it?

Any info would be appreciated

Total job price usually. It's up to you to decide how long it will take, and factor in all overheads, profit, additional time fixing fences etc. Most big clients won't agree to an unknown fee in my experience.
