Renault Mascott tipper

Hi all.

Just been flicking over what 3.5 ton tippers are available for Arb use with chip box and chipper etc and I came across this.

The key things I like is the big pole ram behind the cab and it looks like it could carry a good wait with its 4 wheels on the back

The Renault Mascott tipper:

I was wondering if anyone on here has had us of this tipper for Arb use and if so how did it perform with tipping wood chip, how much load could it carry and did it manage good on most terrains or did it get stuck on a lettuce leaf.

I know Renault finished this model in 2010 but I have since seen the cab and chassis has now become the new Renault master.

Just be aware that because a truck can physically hold a huge volume of waste i

there is a legal limit which is very expensive and inconvenient if you exceed it.

It can be quite a small payload on a 3.5 tonner.

As a guide I recon the 'average' chippings are about 3 cu mtrs per ton so, depending on vehicle weight, tools you carry, people on board etc. 3 mtrs might be the legal max.
