Wow, symbiosis at its best, partial function is still occurring, I suspect that the tree next spring will still come into leaf, just drought this year and the parasite causing early leaf abscission (and a whole host of other pathogen's) , road side tree, ?, Toni ? me , I think i'd like a close look at the buds first call and make recommendations from that. If we chop everything down just because of early leaf abscission we could be living in a very baron environment . Don't all shout at once, form a queue :001_smile:

Also has had some new kerbing put in recently, not sure if that is relevant, but who knows what they cut when putting it in!

 

This has been a long term ailment , but not a terminal problem , I think if 50% of the mistletoe was cleaned out , next year the tree would look a whole lot different even if theirs a repeated drought, but I would still like to see what the extension growth was like before making a judgment .
