Can't get a mewp in and crane not a option on a £500 budget .. And nothing to hang the saw off just yer harness don't get me wrong I've had a 660 on my harness once with a 3ft bar .... Didn't like it lol

It's just the 30ft log with about 8ft of epicormic but its slightly on the back lean and against a corner back fence, it's been a washing line post for possible 60years as well lol... But putting this up I'm gonna go back and have another look I hate getting beat grrrr

Sometimes when I think a trees not safe to climb ill think of the weather that we've had at the time and weight up has it been under stress .. If it has and there's no signs of horizontal cracks

or crotch movement then it's gonna take my stingy 11 stone , don't get me wrong my ass still twitches but it helps :-)
