I would check to see if it has an oil filter on the pick up pipe, if so clean it out.

Noticed on the ms200t the pipe gets blocked right by the pump so you have to strip it down to clean out, dunno if its the same with your saw though:confused1:

Hi mate, I think it has got one of the 'springy' type things on the end of the pick-up tube. It was suggested that I try a bent wire in the tank to get the pipe out, but it is far too short for that so It looks more & more like a visit to the lawnmower man that I know. Thanks again to all for the info, I'll let you all know how he does with it.

cheers.

no no no , get a big pile of sawdust, sit the saw right in the middle and start pottering with the wee tube thingy, you need to re inact the real thing, get someone to spray you with water and get a leaf blower on you as well, just when you get the filter off, drop it in the sawdust, let go of the wee tube, it then goes shooting back in the tank, so you then run about in a rager wishing you had stuck to your old job:scared1::001_tongue:

You know, I've never met you, but I still think you're a VERY silly individual. Although my other half says she thinks the same thing about me........She's probably right if I'm honest about it:001_tongue:
