how old is hedge sorry to hijack thread but if young hedge eg 15 years how about laying it will thicken it up good and should be able to get a grant to lay it.

 

Where can you get a grant to lay a hedge, and whos eligible? Also on a newly planted hedge, how many years would you wait to lay it, got a fair bit if 8 year planted mixed hedge dog rose etc. That I figured was too young but getting quite tall, what should I do with it? Cut, lay or leave. Thanks
